AgentBuilder^® Version 1.4 is now available. The AgentBuilder product line has been updated and now provides full support for Java 1.4. In addition, the new update provides a number of performance enhancements and bug fixes. AgentBuilder is a tool suite for building intelligent software agents. The product makes it easy for programmers who are not expert in intelligent software agent technology to quickly and easily building agent-based systems.

The AgentBuilder product line includes AgentBuilder Lite and AgentBuilder Pro. AgentBuilder Lite is an entry level product for students and engineers interesting in exploring agent-based technology. AgentBuilder Lite is particulary well-suited for building single-agent applications or applications that require only a few agents. AgentBuilder Pro is a full-featured development environment that includes graphical tools for modeling agent conversations and automatically generating the code to implement those conversations.

The update is available free of charge to customers who purchased AgentBuilder prior to July 10, 2003 or are under a maintenance contract.
